“I admire that so many seemingly different projects are able to come together with a common goal, while supporting each other in their endeavors.”

Mia came to the CSL with a background in the fine arts and an MFA in photography. Through her experiences she discovered the importance and value of shared space and the benefits for different artistic disciplines involved. Her involvement with the Overlook, a space for community organizations and collaboration, reflects her belief that arts and community projects should be accessible outside of a university setting.
