The Natural Building Group explores and exchanges information on natural building techniques.

Straw bale workers

The group completed a straw bale house in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. See the Straw Bale House web site for more information on this exciting project!

Greene County straw bale house

A straw bale house under construction in Greene County, IN. Natural Building group members helped to stack the straw bales during a Saturday field trip/ workday.

Cordwood retreat

Dedication day for the cordwood hermitage at Mt. Gilead Friends retreat. Natural Building Group members helped out in building the cordwood walls.

Cob oven

Members of the Natural Building group join with residents of Homewoods to build a cob baking oven.
